Come learn the steps of the Lion Dance to ring in the new year with fun and health! This special FCCNE Lion Dance workshop is only for adoptees 10 years or older and is limited in size.

You will learn from Nüwa Athletic Club, named after an ancient Chinese mythological goddess best known for creating mankind and repairing the pillar of heaven. Nuwa Athletic Club provides an environment for Asian American girls and women to enhance their physical and emotional development through teamwork, sportsmanship and cultural activities including lion and dragon dance.

LOCATION: The Pao Arts Center is Chinatown's first community-based arts center and Boston's newly dedicated Asian American and Asian immigrant cultural space.Through arts, culture, and education, the Pao Arts Center brings together community members across generations to reclaim a critical piece of Chinatown history to create healthy families and vibrant communities.

Directions: The Pao Arts Center is located in the One Greenway building, 99 Kneeland Street. For GPS driving directions, use 66 Hudson Street, Boston, MA 02111. From Hudson Street, walk up the stairs and across the deck to the 99 Albany Street entrance. The public parking garage entrance is on Hudson Street. The Pao Arts Center is accessible by the MBTA green, red, and orange lines.
