• Anju Madhok - We are very excited to have singer, songwriter and producer Anju Madhok at Experience Chinatown After Dark! Anju’s music has been featured in Kajal Mag and Bandcamp Daily, and they were highlighted by NPR’s All Songs Considered as an outstanding Tiny Desk Contest entrant. Anju's music grapples with ideas of love, home and diaspora, and their work encourage listeners, especially queer and trans listeners of color, to find solace in sound.
• Jennifer Lin - Interested in contemporary dance? Come watch contemporary American dance artists Jennifer Lin and Ivana Chan perform "Night Kitchen" at Experience Chinatown After Dark 2018. Choreographed by Lin and danced by Chan, "Night Kitchen" is about growing up in a Chinese kitchen and a larger suite of autobiographical dances. Lin has presented her work nationally at the Portsmouth Arts Festival, Asia Pacific Dance Festival, Boston Conservatory, Dance Complex, Jose Mateo Dance for World Community festival, among others, as well as presented and performed in Seoul and Beijing internationally.
